FOREVER YOURS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We understand that losing a loved one and organising a funeral service can be a very stressful time. Though we believe we are good people and empathise with all our families at their time of loss, we do need to clarify some points that can occasionally cause misunderstandings. Please take time to read our terms and conditions to ensure the process of creating your funeral stationery remains as stress-free as possible. Thank you.
Customer: The person(s) who places an order with Forever Yours.
Project: Design and printing of funeral stationary undertaken by Forever Yours.
Final product: The final, printed design of any works produced by Forever Yours for you, the customer.
Working Days: Monday - Sunday from 9am to 5pm every day.
Deposit: A 50% deposit is required before we start any design work. We will send you this initial invoice via email once we receive your design brief. Please note that we reserve the right not to start your funeral service stationery if we have not received this deposit. Deposits are non-refundable.
Although we rigorously proof, customers must check all proofs themselves (including initial and final) for any errors including but not limited to, grammar, details, images and sizing. Forever Yours takes no responsibility for any errors in the final product regardless of who made the error. It is the customer’s responsibility to check all proofs for errors or omissions. Any costs incurred for reprints will be at the customer’s expense. The only exception is if there is an error in the final product that was not present in the pdf proofs (or hardcopy thereof) that you approved. We would then reprint at our expense. We encourage you to thoroughly check once, twice or even three times for any errors in all proofs and/or enlist the help of a family member or friend to do so. A fresh pair of eyes helps to ensure that all details are correct. The content of your design brief is copied and pasted into your remembrance service sheet so the customer must check all details are accurate when entered into the Forever Yours design brief form or sent to us in any other way. Forever Yours takes no responsibility for any errors in the customer supplied design brief. Please ensure capital letters and punctuation are included where appropriate as well as any special characters or symbols such as &, # or *.
To help our designers to create the highest quality funeral service sheet for your loved one, we recommended sending us high-resolution digital photos of 300dpi in jpg or png format. We understand that you may not have access to the highest quality images, therefore we will do our best to work with what you have. Forever Yours takes no responsibility for any image imperfections in the final product including, but not limited to, colour, size and clarity as a result of low resolution and/or quality of the images supplied by the customer. All images must be sent in digital formats and any printed photos must be scanned before being sent to us.
Unless stated otherwise, all prices are in New Zealand dollars. You will be sent an initial invoice on receipt of your completed design brief. The final fee will be adjusted to take into account any additional fees, quantities or print runs on completion of your funeral stationery. The final, outstanding invoice will be sent to the customer once the final product has been dispatched.
Payment is required within 10 days. If payment is not received within the 10 days, we will give the customer 1 week after which we may enlist the services of a debt collection agency. Please talk to us as soon as possible if you feel it will be difficult for you to pay within this time as we may be able to set up an instalment arrangement.
Free shipping within New Zealand. Surcharge may apply to very remote locations. Price on consultation.
Forever Yours allows the customer 2 sets of changes for no charge. If any additional changes are requested, this will incur a fee of $15 per set of changes.
Invoicing and payment
The customer will be sent an initial invoice upon receipt of their completed design brief for which a 50% deposit is required. A final invoice with any additional fees will be sent on completion and dispatch of the final product. Payment is required within 10 days from receipt of this invoice. Bank deposit or transfer and cheque are the accepted methods of payment (please allow 1-3 days for payment to clear).
Forever Yours aims to have the final product dispatched within 1- 3 days from the receipt of the customer’s fully completed design brief and any images that are to be included in the funeral stationery.
This may be delayed for the following reasons:
• The deposit has not been received in full
• During the design process, the customer is not timely with suggesting further changes or approving proofs
• If printed proofs are required
Forever Yours takes no responsibility for delays or late delivery of the final product incurred by actions of any third party used by Forever Yours in the production of the final product. Please ensure all address details are correct and postal code included.
Forever Yours will send pdf proofs via email to the address supplied on the customer design brief (unless agreed otherwise). Hardcopy proofs will be sent only on request and at a cost of $10 per hardcopy not including freight. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure proofs are received and to notify Forever Yours if the proofs are not received when expected. Proofs are to be approved by the customer in writing via email before printing commences. Any changes made at the request of the customer will also need to be made and accepted in writing via email. Forever Yours takes no responsibility for any errors or imperfections in relation to the printing and trimming of the final product unless the error lies in the file formatting of the final product sent to the printer.
Forever Yours will only reprint in the event that the final product contains an error(s) that was not present in the final pdf (or hardcopy proof thereof). This reprint would be at our cost in this instance. Errors include, but are not limited to, spelling, images, fonts, type of paper stock. Requests for reprints for reasons other than the above will be at the cost of the customer in full. The customer has 2 days to reject the final product and request a reprint. If the final product is rejected after this time, Forever Yours reserves the right to decline a reprint.
Forever Yours takes no responsibility for any variations of colour between print runs and what is seen in proofs and the final product. Slight variations in colour are inevitable and colour will look different in printed form from what it looks like on a computer screen. If colour is important to you, you may request a hardcopy proof, however, please be aware that there may still be variations in colour in the final product.
If the customer requires design only with printing done by the customer, Forever Yours will endeavour to format your design file so that it is print ready but will take no responsibility for any errors or imperfections including, but not limited to, layout, formatting and colour in the final product as a result of the customer using a printing company or printer not usually used by Forever Yours. We recommend the customer inform Forever Yours of what type of printer (such as commercial or ‘home’ printer) they intend to use to print the stationery so we may format your design file appropriately.
The printing of your custom designed funeral service sheet is undertaken by a third-party printing company carefully chosen by Forever Yours for their workmanship, quality and integrity. In addition, Forever Yours takes no responsibility for material supplied by the customer for the purpose of the final product that is of an unsatisfactory quality for the printing process. We recommend supplying high-resolution images (300dpi) to ensure printing output is to a high standard.
Forever Yours may store customer details but will not disclose any information to any company or persons outside of Forever Yours unless directly related to the production and payment of the final product, that is, sending the customer’s address to the printer for delivery.
